About Me

I’m a 41Β year old wife, and mom to 2 children ages 14 & 12.

I’m a huge anglophile.

I only read memoirs.

My favorite type of movie is historical costume drama.

We rescued a street dog from the mean streets of Tijuana. She’s the best.

My favorite band is Depeche Mode.

I was born on the equator yet have freezed in Washington state for over 37 years.

I can’t stand talking on the phone. Like seriously…HATE.

I am a digital scrapbooker. I love the convenience but do miss the hands on crafting.

I adore the indie crafts scene. LOVE.

I am a Project Lifer.

I love taking photos.

I’m kinda quirky.

Peace.

  1. Your website is like a little piece of heaven everyday! Your willingness to share with all of us is very appreciated πŸ™‚ Thank you for your kindness.

  2. Hello! I saw that you linked to my site (digitalfreebies.com), wandered over, and was so pleasantly surprised to find a kindred spirit in digi-land πŸ™‚ I, too, am an anglophile (my oldest calls me mummy…sigh!), cheap as heck (quality, not quantity), live in Washington state, once called Depeche Mode my favorite band – these days probably LCD Soundsystem would take the prize, and quirky is my middle name! So here’s a big wave to you and many thanks for the linkage πŸ™‚

  3. Tenika,

You are my favorite daily email! Thank you for all you do to make Project Life so fun! I love all your finds! πŸ™‚ I finally went to the About Me page and saw that you live in Washington too! So funny, I always assume people in blogland are on the other side of the country or world… glad to know there’s someone else “nearby.” πŸ˜‰

    Thanks,
    Briana

  4. Hi, Tenika: Someone in a PL group on Facebook told me to check out your free printables. Really great–thank you for sharing those!
I’m a great big anglophile too, and a mixed-media collage artist as well. I am just starting to do PL. I noticed you referenced Julie Balzer’s blog post on PL. She’s the reason I’m going to try it.
I was wondering: Do you ever make your own journaling cards? If you do, are they of a mixed-media variety? I’m thinking of doing some of my own in Creative Suite, or Publisher.
    Take care,
    Sandra

  5. It is so easy to be interested in your beautiful creations! This site makes me smile. I’m diving into printables and digital scrapbooking. Would it be possible to follow this blog?

  6. Where in Washington state do you reside? I am also in Washington. πŸ™‚ I also hate talking on the phone. And I’m pretty quirky too. Your About Me is like looking in the mirror. I think I’m going to like it here πŸ™‚

  7. I am part of a DT for Bimini Moose and I would like to showcase your website in one of our blog posts. We are a new challenge website dedicated to teaching, learning, and sharing PL and all things scrapbook and I think your site is so excellent and would benefit our followers. Please feel free to contact me if you are obliged or have any questions.
